Sheffield United faces Leicester City at the Bramall Lane in a game from the third round of the Premier League. Here are our English Premier League predictions for this clash.
Sheffield United are among the newcomers in the league this season and they got a really positive start of the campaign. The Blades won four points from the first two matches, which is pretty good. In the first round Sheffield United made a draw during the visit to Bournemouth, while in the second round Chris Wilder’s boys enjoyed a 1-0 win over Crystal Palace at home. The only goal in the game was scored two minutes after the halftime break when John Lundstram put the ball behind Vicente Guaita’s back.
It’s stilll too early to say what we can expect from Sheffield United this season. They could be fighting for survival, but it’s also possible to do much better than this. So far they are having a really positive start of the season, so if they manage to keep this level, they could turn into a pleasant surprise in the league.
Leicester City on the other hand kicked off their season with two draws in the first two games. After the draw against Wolverhampton Wanderers in the first round, Brendan Rodgers’ boys shared the points during the visit to Chelsea at the Stamford Bridge.
The game in London didn’t start well for the Foxes, because the hosts opened the score after just seven minutes of playing, when Mason Mount put the ball behind Kasper Schmeichel’s back. Leicester showed strenght after the halftime break and equalised in the middle of the second half when the Nigerian midfielder Wilfred Ndidi scored his first goal for the season.
That’s our English Premier League predictions for the game between Sheffield United and Leicester City from the third round.
