Roma hosts Napoli in a very interesting game from the 29th round of the Serie A. Here are our thoughts about this clash at the Stadio Olimpico in our vip soccer predictions today.

Roma will try to bounce back after their dissapointing loss from SPAL in the previous round. For the new manager Claudio Ranieri it was a first defeat since he returned at the club, replacing the sacked Eusebio Di Francesco. The Wolves really needed to win this game, because they are fighting for a Top 4 finish, but SPAL caused a major upset there.

Right now Roma are 5th in the Calcio with 47 points won. The gap between them and the 4th Milan is 4 points, so nothing is over for Roma just yet. But surely they need to improve and become more consistent in order to qualify for the Champions League again.

But it won’t be easy against Napoli. Carlo Ancelotti’s boys are arguably the second best team in the Serie A, being bettered only by Juventus in the league. Right now the Azzurri are 2nd in the Serie A and most likely they are going to finish at this position.

In their last five games Napoli lost only once – against the champion and leader Juventus. In their last game the Azzurri recorded their 18th win for the season, beating Udinese with 4-2 at the San Paolo. Four different players scored for the home side – Younes, Callejon, Milik and Mertens. It was a good performance for Napoli, despite of conceding two goals at home.
