PSG welcomes Nantes

The champion PSG welcomes Nantes in a second game from the 1/2-finals of the Coupe de France. Thomas Tuchel’s boys meet their opponents at their own Parc des Princes in the French capital. Here are our vip soccer predictions today for this clash.

PSG reached the 1/2-finals of the Coupe de France after a comfortable 3-0 win over Dijon in the previous round. The Argentine international Angel Di Maria scored a brace for the Parisians, while Thomas Meunier also added one goal for Tuchel’s team. Just like everyone expected, PSG didn’t have much of a problem to win this one.

In the Ligue 1 PSG are marching on towards another title. The club from the capital is leading the standings with 80 points, which is a solid 20 points lead in front of the 2nd Lille. There’s no doubt that PSG are going to win the title again, they just have no competition here.

Nantes on the other hand reached the 1/2-finals after a 2-0 win over Vitre in the previous round. Both goals were scored in the first half of the game, when Gabriel Boscchilia and Antonio Mance scored for Nantes and qualified their team for the 1/2-finals. But now they will have a much tougher test against them, facing the best team in the country.

In the Ligue 1 Nantes are 15th in the standings with 31 points won. They are not having the best season possible, but at least they are on a safe distance from the relegation zone, which is the most important thing in this case.
