Osasuna’s performance since their return to La Liga is really interesting. In seven games played so far, Los Rojillos made five draws – more than any other team in the league at the moment. They also won once and lost once. Right now they are 13th in the league with 8 points. Not great, but not terrible as well.

In the previous round Osasuna recorded their fifth draw for the season. Arrasate’s boys travelled to Valencia to face Levante, doing 1-1 draw at the Estadio Cuidad de Valencia. Ruben Garcia saved Osasuna’s point with an equalising goal, putting the ball in the net after an assist from Roberto Torres.

As long as they are not losing and they are winning points, it’s good for Osasuna. But of course, it’d be better if they start winning on a more regular basis.

How are Villarreal doing this season? Pretty decent, we’d say. Right now the Yellow Submarine is 8th in the league standings with 11 points, which is not a bad start. Remember that last season Villarreal barely escaped relegation, so being in the middle of the standings now is a positive thing.

Right now Villarreal are in a good shape. In their last four games they won three times, including in the previous round against Real Betis. It was a spectacular game for Javi Calleja’s team, which beat its visitors with 5-1. Kari Toko Ekambi scored a brace for the Yellow Submarine, while Cazorla, Moreno and Chukwueze also put the ball in the net.
