Olympique Lyonnais – PSG
Olympique Lyonnais hosts the champion PSG in a derby match from the sixth round of the French Ligue 1. We shall expect a pretty good rivalry in this fixture, so let’s take a look at it during our soccer matches tomorrow predictions.
Sylvinho’s reign as a manager of Olympique Lyonnais started really well and the young Brazilian coach celebrated two wins in the first two rounds of the league. But this inspiration vanished really quickly, because in the last three league games Les Gones won just two points. That’s the reason why right now Lyonnais are 8th in the standings, having 8 points in their record.
Last weeks Les Gones visited Amiens SC, but recieved a very late equalising goal and only won a point after a 2-2 draw. Moussa Dembele gave the visitors a lead with two goals on his name, but Amiens equalised in the 91th minute, when Mathieu Bodmer put the ball behind Anthony Lopes’ back.
Few days ago Olympique Lyonnais made another draw, but in the Champions League. Sylvinho’s boys hosted Zenit and only secured a point after a 1-1 draw. Memphis Depay scored Lyonnais’ only goal in the game from a penalty kick.
PSG are approaching this game in Lyonnais in a terrific mood. During the week Thomas Tuchel’s team played an amazing game against Real Madrid in the Champions League, beating the Spanish giant with 3-0 in Paris. Angel Di Maria scored a brace for the hosts, while Thomas Meunier added one more for the French side. PSG did this without stars like Neymar, Kylian Mbappe and Edinson Cavani who all missed the game.
The good news for PSG is that Neymar is going to return against Olympique Lyonnais on Sunday. He missed the game against Real Madrid because of suspension, but he shall be in the starting eleven against Les Gones.
That’s our soccer matches tomorrow prediction for the Ligue 1 clash between Olympique Lyonnais and PSG. We expect to see some goals in this game.
