Despite of the absence of David Silva and Kevin De Bruyne starting off the bench, Manchester City enjoyed a 2-0 win over Arsenal at the Emirates in the first round. Raheem Sterling opened the score against the Gunners, while Bernardo Silva killed the game with a second goal after the break. We can’t say that City played their best game, but they acted like a true champion – even when far from their best, they still managed to get all of the three points.

Against Huddersfield the Cityzens will have to deal with the absence of probably their best player – Kevin De Bruyne. The Belgian midfielder injured his knee during training, which is pretty bad news for the manager Pep Guardiola. Everyone knows how important De Bruyne is for City’s overall performance. Against Huddersfield, most likely he’s going to get replaced Ilkay Gundogan or Bernardo Silva.

Huddersfield Town didn’t have a happy start of the new season. They suffered a 0-3 defeat at home against Chelsea. The Blues felt inspired by the arrival of their new manager Maurizio Sarri, so they didn’t face any problems in beating Huddersfield. Now the Terriers will have another tough task against the current champion of England.
