Liverpool suffered a defeat in their opening game in the Champions League for this season, so now the holders of the trophy will try to bounce back against Salzburg in their first home match in Group E. What happened last year, happened now as well. Liverpool visited Napoli at the San Paolo and suffered a defeat. The Italians scored two late goals and beat the current European champions with 2-0.

Of course, there’s no reason for panic in Liverpool’s dressing room. It was just the first game in the group, so there’s enough for time for the champions to win some points.

Of course, Salzburg are aware that against Liverpool it’s going to be much harder than against Genk. But after scoring six times in their opening game in the group, the Austrians have enough self confidence to make a good performance at the Anfield.
