Inter Milan’s CEO, Alessandro Antonello, reassured club fans not to worry about a possible break with top scorer Mauro Icardi. In the last days speculation about Argentina’s future is becoming more and more serious, claiming it is wanted by quite large clubs. The San Siro, however, believe they will be able to keep it.
“Do not worry about Ircardi. He remains our player and our captain. In the coming weeks, we will be negotiating a new treaty, “Antonello said.
He also talks about whether the club will have any problems meeting the FIFA Financial Fairplay criteria.
“There is optimism. We are working on this goal, which we must achieve by June 30th. We believe we can handle it. We do not intend to sell players to the poker room to meet the conditions for Financial Fairplay. Our goal is to build a competitive team, “added the boss.
