High-level arrests in Rome for the new stadium in Rome

Nine people involved in the construction of the new Roma stadium were arrested, Gazzetta dello Sport reported. The publication adds that among the arrested are people occupying high positions in the Italian capital. The arrest came after a prosecution in Rome.

Among the detainees are contractor Luca Parnazi, Deputy Speaker of the Lazio Regional Council, Adriano Paloczi, and Luca Landzone, the energy and water interlocutor. This happens just days after the Mayor of Rome Vrajinja Raji’s announcement that the construction of the new “wolf” facility is in full swing. The name of the new stadium will be “Stadio dela Roma” and will be located in the Tor di Valle area.
